International Portuguese Music Awards airings for 2023 announced

 
 

The 2023 International Portuguese Music Awards, presented by TAP Air Portugal, will air on several media outlets. Daniela Ruah and Ricardo Farias hosted the eleventh edition of the awards show that took place at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, Rhode Island on May 20.

July 16 Airings:

7pm Boston/Toronto time

IPMA’s Facebook, IPMA's YouTube, Camões TV (Toronto), WJFD 97.3 FM, and Xfinity on-demand (Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC, and Philadelphia)

8pm Boston time

The Portuguese Channel (Massachusetts and Rhode Island)

July 22 Airings:

RTP1 - 23:15 (Lisbon), after the show "Porquinho Mealheiro"

RTP International, America - 8:45 pm (Boston/New York), after the show "Conte-me Como Foi"

RTP International, Europa - 10:45 pm (Paris), after the show "Conte-me Como Foi"

This year featured performances by José Cid, Pedro Abrunhosa, Plutonio, Toy, Ruby Anderson, Eratoxica, and coaches from The Voice Portugal, Marisa Liz and Diogo Piçarra. The star-studded event included appearances by Providence’s favorite food blogger Laura Afonso of Buns and Bites, Tiny Tavares from the Tavares Brothers Band, and Michelle Pais, star of the hit TV show 24 Hour Flip.

IPMA will begin accepting song and music video submissions for next year’s show this summer, with a deadline of November 30.
