International Portuguese Music Awards 2021 Winners: The Complete List
This year’s star-studded International Portuguese Music Awards, which was presented by Happin live streaming app, featured performances by Carminho, Cristóvam, Piruka, Cremilda Medina, Nikita Afonso, Tabu, and Anjos. Trophies were presented in fourteen categories, with this year’s nominees hailing from seven different countries.
Catarina Furtado hosted the ninth annual celebration honoring musicians of Portuguese descent from around the globe, using the Teatro da Trindade in Lisbon as the backdrop.

The audience was transported to several locales, as the show was filmed internationally in various locations. New talent finalist Isabel Mesquita performed in Santa Maria, Azores and The RedBeds home base was in Lisbon. Other featured spots were Porto, Cape Verde, Vancouver, Toronto, and Terceira, Azores.
Several familiar faces joined the event to present the coveted awards: Bárbara Bandeira, Tito Paris, Olavo Bilac, António Manuel Ribeiro (UHF), José Malhoa, Rita Guerra, Frankie DaPonte Jr. (EXP Edition), Oscar nominated Luis Sequeira, Julia Dantas, Peter Serrado, Ruby Anderson, David Leite, and Maria Lawton (TV host of the Emmy nominated Maria's Portuguese Table).
IPMA is accepting submissions until November 30th for next year’s award show, which marks the tenth anniversary of the prestigious event. Fans can expect a massive celebration for the milestone year.
